Working out a price for your specific project
We can usually provide an accurate quotation based on information given by phone or email. A photo of where your gates or garage doors will be going is very useful so we can visualise your requirements.
We will then send a no obligation, fully itemised quote by email (or by post if you prefer).
If you wish to proceed, we take a deposit by card or bank transfer and add you to our 'jobs board'.
Because we make all our products to order, there will be a lead in time.
Your deposit is fully refundable if you change your mind for any reason before we have started making your order.
How do we make sure we have the correct sizes?
If we are fitting your gates or garage doors (within our local fitting area), we will arrange to come and do a site survey, to confirm the measurements and answer any questions you may have.
If you are not local, we can guide you how to measure and then email a proof drawing to you for you to double check and confirm.

How we make your Gates & Garage Doors
Our skilled joiners will make your order from start to finish using traditional time proven methods of joinery.
We use a combination of trusty vintage machinery as well as the latest tools. All our products are hand finished and we take a real pride in our work.
Our products are built to last using mortise and tenon joints. We use good quality timber and materials to ensure the best finish.
No two gates will ever be exactly the same as our products are bespoke made, to your exact sizes.
Fitting your finished product
We offer a full fitting service in Dorset and the surrounding area.
If you need gate posts cemented in the ground, we have an expert post fitter, who makes sure your posts are securely fitted, deep in the ground. He then takes the exact measurements between the posts for us to manufacture your gates to the perfect size. We will return to hang them, usually within 3 weeks.
For projects, that don't need posts cemented in, we are able to do the whole fitting service in one visit at a time convenient to you.
